21 year old Freddy Chicas from the West Lake Community in the Belize District was reported missing on Thursday, March 9th after going missing on the morning of Sunday, March 5, 2023.
His body was found on Friday March 10th in an area opposite the Westlake community on the same side of the road as the BEL substation.
One week later, police charged 18 year old Bevan Curtis Alford, a laborer of Ladyville for his Murder. No motive is known at this time.
