Last week, we told you about Tulio Rodriguez, the Belizean taxi man who was detained in Chetumal after he reportedly ran a stop sign, causing an accident that killed a Mexican cab driver.
And while he may have thought his fate was sealed, the judge in the case determined that his detention was unlawful and so he was released. This judgement however has upset the family of the deceased and public service operators in Chetumal.
According to Mexican media outlets, Rodriguez claimed that he suffered a brake fail at the time of the accident.
