And while that is a new beginning for SJCJC, the Belize DIA Lab had its closing event today for phase one of the project. The DIA Innovation Labs, which are present throughout the region, are aimed at empowering youths by providing access to training and capacity building sessions, collaborative spaces, and mentorship to strengthen their skills.

The US Embassy has provided roughly $250,000 to implement this project, which took place over the past 18 months.
