Tonight, David Arnold, the alleged killer of Andrew Bennett the once-popular DJ "Hard Rock" is a free man.
6 years ago when Bennett's execution-style murder occurred on Central American Boulevard he and Arnold WERE neighbors.
According to police, Bennett was at a bus shed, adjacent to his house when a gunman approached and opened FIRE on him; Bennett was hit multiple times to the head and body and died on the spot.
Arnold's case was set to start in trial by judge without jury in the High Court.
But today after the crown's main witnesses could not be found or refused to cooperate with police, so the case ended in a nolle pros.
And, just like that Justice Ricardo O'Neil Sandcroft told Arnold that he was free to go after 6 years on remand.
