And turning now to last night's episode of UNCUT and Jules Vasquez's extended interview with Stake Bank proprietor Mike Feinstein.
Jules asked him about the state of readiness of his PORT CORAL at Stake Bank - which says it will be Belize's first docking facility
for cruise ships. But, the most important thing - the pier for those ships is not yet complete. Still Feinstein says they hope to
open at the end of the year with a temporary measure - which sounded to a us a lot like tendering:

"We're looking at doing a soft opening in six months. Soft opening, meaning we're planning to bring the ship right up
to where the dolphins. At the end of the pier is what we call a dolphin. That is where the ships tie on to. So the
dolphins, they're coming to Belize. The Mexicans are coming here in about three months and they start first with the
Dolphins while waiting on all the pre-cast."
"So everything should just tie in. So they would tie on to the onto the dolphin through an anchor in the rear and in
3 minutes, we're going to have everybody on shore. But the island is just drop dead gorgeous. You have pretty close
to a mile of beach, white, sandy beach. You know, all the shopping and all the restaurants."
Jules Vasquez:
"But then what you're saying I'm hearing you. But what you're seeing is that your tendering Mike. That's what you're
saying. You're telling us... that is 3 minutes away. That's still tendering."

"Yeah, but that's very temporary."
Jules Vasquez:
"You think that the cruise lines will accept this?"
Mike Feinstein, Owner, Stake Bank
"I think. One already has the biggest cruise line on the planet. Has. Yeah."
Jules Vasquez:
"So there's only one begets cruise line on the planet, Carnival cruise. You have?"

"They don't like when you call their name"
Jules Vasquez:
"You have an agreement with them."
Mike Feinstein, Owner, Stake Bank
"The last meeting we had, basically they're saying, Mike, just give us a date. Just give us a date and we will be there."
