Months Later, Teenagers Walk From Murder Charge
posted (July 24, 2023)
Back in December 2022, 61-year-old Emert Flowers was murdered inside his own yard, and another senior citizen was rushed to the hospital with gunshot injuries.

In early 2023, 19-year-old Adrian Hernandez and a 17-year-old minor were both arraigned for the crime, but today both of them were freed from the murder charge. The police prosecutor informed the court that the DPP's office had instructed them to withdraw the charge due to insufficient evidence. But while Hernandez was free to go, the minor remained in custody since he also has a pending robbery charge. We should note that Hernandez's education was derailed by his baseless detention - he was taken out of fourth form to be remanded.

And while the Flowers family still has not gotten justice, the victim's son, Kyle Latchman, went missing right around the time of his father's death. Up to now, he has still not been found.
