A total of $600,000 US Dollars in equipment, law books, technology, and furniture was donated to the Senior, Magistracy, and Family courts of Belize, through the Improved Access to Justice Project - known as IMPACT Justice. The donation was received on the 5th of June and handed over on the 6th of July by the Chief Justice Louise Blenman, to the Magistrate and Family courts. Accepting the donation on behalf of the courts were, Chief Magistrate Jayant Wegadapola, and the Director of the Family Courts Shanti Morrison. The purpose of this donation is to assist judicial offices in improving its efficiency of the Justice System in Belize.
