A wanted man accused of shooting a tour guide in Hattieville, just may be hiding in plain sight. On Monday we reported that 25 year old Tyler Lewis was shot twice to his back and abdomen upon emerging from his home, after hearing someone call out for him. Police issued a wanted poster for the accused, Akeem Augustus but have not been able to locate him. However we were told today that Augustus is still roaming the village as a free man. We asked the Compol about it:

"I know that we do have the shooting in Hattieville area where a person was shot whilst at home. He was called out by someone, he came by the door and he was shot. The police I know are looking for the suspect to that matter. That's him Akeem Augustus. I don't know if he is still walking around Hattieville. I will have to check with OC, Hattieville to see if that is the case and of that is the case, then we need to ensure that we get him into custody and let the law takes its course."
Tyler Lewis is still recovering from the incident.
