A man drowned in the Mopan River in Benque Viejo Town today. Reports say two resident Bartolo Castellanos was entering the country form Guatemala with contraband vegetables - but he ran into law enforcement and jumped into the river to try and elude them. That's when he went under and did not resurface. His body was found around late this morning.
