The drunk taxi driver who rammed into the Phillip Goldson bust and toppled it on the morning of the Carnival is out on bail tonight.
He is 34 year old Mervin Domingo who was today charged with driving a motor vehicle without due care and attention and driving a motor vehicle above the prescribed alcohol limit.
Domingo stood in court today where he pleaded not guilty to both charges and was granted bail of $600 dollars.
We should note that Domingo was previously charged in October of last year for discharging a firearm in public, he pleaded guilty and was fined $1,200. He is expected to return to court again on October 30th for this recent offense.
