On Wednesday we told you about 18-year-old Jorge Welderman Max, who was found dead on the Philip Goldson Highway the night before. His body was curled around his motorcycle next to a dump truck. But while initial reports suggested that he may have crashed into the back of the truck, surveillance footage shows differently.
It's not completely clear, but it seems that Max was trying to avoid the truck when he was hit by a vehicle. That vehicle continued up the highway without stopping to render aid.
And while the driver of the dump truck - who'd run out of gas - was served with an NIP, police are likely trying to identify the vehicle that hit Max.
We'll ask them about it on Monday.
