A 44 year old swimming teacher, who says works with a community organization appeared in court this morning and was read a single charge of unlawful sexual intercourse with a female minor, who is a student.
That teacher is Melvin Edwin Armstrong. According to the report made by the14 year old minor, Armstrong allegedly had sexual intercourse with her in August. Due to the nature of the case, no plea was taken from Armstrong, and he was also denied bail. Armstrong was remanded to prison until January 8th 2024.
