And while police are diligently at work to capture this culprit in Hattieville, police out in the west are in search of a Belmopan bandit who also pulled a gun on a shopkeeper in the San Martin area, at a well known Naybaz establishment. ACP Romero shared further details:

"On Saturday the 11th day of November 2023 around 10:00 Pm Rebecca Cal of San Martin area of Belmopan reported that she was inside her store namely Naybaz store when a male person entered the establishment and got a beer from the cooler. The person came to where she was and at which point the male person pulled a firearm and demanded money and other items. Shortly thereafter a second male person entered and they proceeded to rob the customers and stole an amount of cash along with Cell phones and other valuables. The male person jumped on a motorcycle and they fled from the area. We do not have any suspects at this time."
