Tonight, a convicted killer is facing a life sentence for a murder committed back in 2016. Enrique Depaz broke into Harrison Bowers home in Silk Grass. What started out as a burglary ended in murder when he stabbed Bowers multiple times.
He was convicted or murder earlier this year and today in the Dangriga High Court he was sentenced to life in prison with eligibility for parole in 23 years - with 6 years deducted for time served. So, he will be eligible for parole in 17 years.
He was represented at the sentencing by Aaron Tillett and the case was prosecuted by Javier Chan.
