Stricter road regulations signed into law today - can hopefully curb the worrying recent spike in road traffic fatalities.

Minister Rodwell Ferguson today today signed three critical statutory instruments.

One mandates the use of seatbelts for ALL passengers in a motor vehicle. Another prohibits the use of electronic devices while driving. And the department of transport will now allow for speed measuring devices to be utilized by the department to enforce speed limits. The three regulations will come into effect on March 1st 2024, where drivers will face penalties if they refuse to comply.
