Another life was lost in a fatal RTA over the weekend, this time it happened heading towards Cotton Tree village on Saturday night. The fatal collision resulted in the death of a female passenger and injured three others. ACP Romero shared further details with us today.

"On Saturday, the 13th day of January 2024 police responded to a fatal road traffic accident between miles 45 and 46 on the George Price high upon the arrival they saw Lincoln, navigator vehicle, and a Ford ranger pick up extensively damaged inside the Lincoln navigator The vehicle was Joshua, Aguilar, and Anna Rivero, and inside the Ford pick up were Jersa Alcantara and Toria Duran. As a result of the accident, Anna Rivero succumbed to her injuries. All other persons are in stable condition, and an investigation is being carried out into this report, and there after determination will be made if any charges will be levied."
There was also a fatal accident in Cristo Rey village over the weekend. Later on you'll hear the Commissioner talk about how he's pushing to change the laws to legalize the use of speed guns and breathalyzers.
