And while the ministry may have its hands full with this death investigation, Bernard says they are closely monitoring the potential case of meningitis that was reported at Holy Redeemer Primary School last week. He says that discussions are still ongoing involving the surveillance of the child, which he told us more about today.

"I will not be able to expand much because the matter is still under investigation from what I understood from what I got is that the child was being monitored the last report I got from the CEO at KHMH that child was in the ICU but he's not in the ICU under any equipment or anything he was just being there monitored I understand that at the time the child was responsive and all of these things I have not gotten any recent update to be honest with you, so I don't want to speak out of term. In fact, I am here today and that's one of the reasons why I am here today because I will be meeting with the central health region and the CEO of the KHMH So that we can get an update in terms of what are some of the things that are happening current occurrences."
