"On Saturday,17th of August 2024, police responded to a fatal road traffic accident. At Otro Benque road in Orange Walk. Upon arrival, they receive information that the male person had been taken for medical treatment. They proceeded to the hospital where they found Fermin Lobo, sixty seven years withs severe injuries, and he succumbed to his injuries. Investigations that he was riding a motorcycle when he collided with the tricycle, causing his fatal injuries. An investigation is being carried out. the other driver of the tricycle has been served with an IEP. thereafter, the file will be forwarded to the DPP for directives and indication of alcohol was involved. no, we do not know. At this time."
