And we close tonight as we usually do on Independence eve, with Frankie Reneau's extravagant, totally original rendition or, perhaps, classical remix of the National Anthem. We're not sure what the songwriter Samuel Haynes would say, or what the man who adopted it as the national anthem George Price would think of it - but every year - we hear something different in there.
