Why Mayor Trapp Didn't Attend Unity Convention?
posted (October 21, 2024)
Mayor Earl Trapp is another frustrated UDP. He too was noticeably not at yesterday's event - but, like Aragon, he says it can't be ignored. Here's what he told us today about his absence and his hope for the UDP:

Earl Trapp, Mayor, San Ignacio
"A storm had just passed over and we had flooding in different areas. Some culverts were clogged up that's what I did, Mr Jules. That's what I was doing, I was working out there."

Jules Vasquez
"So it sounds like if you could have, you would have attended."

Earl Trapp, Mayor, San Ignacio
"Well like I said Mr Jules, the work comes first. I don't see it as an important convention, I didn't see it, because of the fact that the NPC did not sanctioned it, so I thought it wasn't important."

"But Mr Jules I will tell you what, after I saw your interviews out there and the many people that I saw, we cannot dispel the fact that we had some hardcore supporters out there and not only that, but the numbers. I think it was big enough that I'm hoping that after today Mr Shyne and Tracy can come together and see how this could be resolved, because at the end of the day they both have followers. But this was a big crowd yesterday and we cannot left that unnoticed.

"So I just hope that cooler heads will prevail very soon sooner than later and um something will be able to worked out through the different factions there. It's a big hope, but you know what um anything is possible."

Jules Vasquez
"It seems like they're farther away than ever."

Earl Trapp, Mayor, San Ignacio
"Yeah um I just hope that Mr Jules, as per normal the way I think we look at and we think about the poor supporters that need their help."
