Yesterday, police busted a 43-year-old Belize City man with 23 pounds of cocaine. According to ACP Hilberto Romero, he was intercepted in Hattieville. This bust follows two bigger seizures in Corozal, and the cocaine found on Andre Perez's boat in San Pedro Town. Romero told us more.

"Police conducting an operation in Hattieville Village where a vehicle was stopped and searched. Police found ten parcels of suspected cocaine. The car was impounded, the driver taken into custody. He was identified as Dominique Young, car dealer of Vista Del Mar. He has since been arrested for possession of controlled drugs with intent to supply to wit 23.3 pounds of suspected cocaine."
