In June of 2016, mother of 4 Shereema Neal, was the main suspect in connection to the murder of 17 year old Jasmine Petillo, whose body was found in the Western area of Mahogany Heights Village with 98 stab wounds.
Her trial concluded in September and the verdict was handed down today.
Justice Candace Nanton found her not guilty and tonight, the mother of 4 is a free woman.
Today in court Justice Nanton ruled that the prosecution failed to prove Neal's guilt beyond a reasonable doubt, due to " glaring discrepancies in the crown's main witness" The DNA analysis, which took five years to return, showed only a partial match linking her to the crime.
