Panton Says Injunction Only Temporary

We also asked Panton her thoughts on the court order that Shyne Barrow's attorney got on Friday. It forced Panton and her team to abandon the party headquarters. It's a temporary measure until the full case is heard next year. She stressed that it's just that - temporary - and they have confidence that the court will ultimately rule in their favor.

"I'm very confident, I had a very long meeting yesterday with the attorneys representing us in this matter. The interim injunction is temporary and it deals with a single matter, which is the occupation and use of the headquarters."

"You know I have gone on record to say and I continue to maintain that the institution of the party is not a building, it is the people who have been part of this party for a long period of time and have worked tirelessly for the United Democratic Party."
