Our next story is about another stolen Hilux - which police moved quickly to recover.
On Sunday night, 41 year old Jody Adulphus arrived at home at Blackberry Estate. However, as he was exiting his vehicle, three men ran out of an unfinished addition to his house and held him up. They stole his wallet with $200 in different denominations and the keys for his Toyota Hilux - which they then drove off in.
But, police were able to quickly intercept the truck thieves. ACP Romero told us more.

"On Sunday the 24th day of November 2024 around 9:30pm, Jody Adulphus reported that he was driving a Toyota Hilux vehicle in the Blackberry area of Burrell Boom when he was approached by three male persons who were armed with firearms. They hit him with one of the firearms and proceeded to steal the Toyota Hilux. Police responded to the report and came across the Hilux on the Burrell Boom road where the vehicle was intercepted. The vehicle came to a stop and the three male occupants ran away from the vehicle and made good their escape. The vehicle was processed and we're seeking three suspects in regards to this robbery."

"A police intercepted that in the area and they abandoned the vehicle and ran off."

"He was about to park the vehicle, he was reversing when he was attacked by these three male persons."
