And in another move towards transparency and consumer benefit, the Central Bank is spearheading a project to create a Credit Reporting System in Belize. The governor says consumers would be able to access their credit score - and that it is a move towards greater inclusion:
Once the project is launched, consumers would be able to get a copy of their credit report free once a year.
