The Leader of the Opposition left before the conclusion of the meeting - actually he left as soon as the Albert area rep Tracy Panton rose during the adjournment. But, before he did, he made sure he attended today's committee meeting. That's after the last one had no input from the Opposition since Barrow removed his one time colleagues, Panton and Patrick Faber from all the committees. But he said his track record still speaks for itself despite one absence.

"I missed one committee meetings since that matter took place where we made adjustments as to the House Committee because I left parliament early because we had a blackout. I was not responsible for the blackout, I had an urgent matter to deal with that prevented me from returning after parliament was suspended due to the blackout so you have to blame Briceno for the energy crisis that we have. I have never missed a parliament in the four years I've been here and I invite you to study the record as to House Committee members and who have been the most present and I can guarantee you that I have attended more House Committee meetings than any member of parliament in this term."
