Now the staff is compiling a report on what were the problem areas and who were the problem business owners.
It's important information going into the coming weekend, December 21st and 22nd which will also be GST Free days.
Longsworth spoke about what's important going forward:

"So basically, our staff is being is focused on this because we want to make sure to minimize any of the issues that arose this weekend for the coming 21st and the 22nd. So based on the reports we've received, we are sending out back our staff countrywide to these businesses to ensure that they really understand the process and to assist them with any challenges that they seem to be facing as it pertains to providing persons or consumers with the tax-free days."
The department will be putting out fliers to educate consumers on what are Zero-rated items.
