A gang of brazen bike thieves took things to another level on Monday night on the Phillip Goldson Highway within Belize City - when they tried to jack a bicycle from a man who was riding it at the time.
He resisted and got assistance from passersby who stopped to help him, and lend some hardware like a wheel spanner to fight off the thieves. He ran to the median - while they tried to wrest the bike away form him even in face of oncoming traffic.
Eventually, when passersby stopped in the middle of the road to lend assistance the thieves rode off into the night.
