Another man died over the weekend - in a fatal traffic accident - and continuing last year's trend, this one was also on a motorcycle.
There was a collision between the bike and a pickup - ACP Romero told us how it happened.

"On Sunday the 5th day of January 2025 police responded to a fatal road traffic accident at mile 47 on the humming bird highway and upon the arrival they saw a Toyota hilux and a motorcycle with extensive damages. Information reveals that Veronica Majil was driving the Toyota hilux and she collided with the motorcycle being driven by Mario Quijada 42 years. Mario Quijada was taken for treatment where he was pronounced dead at the hospital. An investigation is being carried out to determine if any charges will be levied."
