Turning back now to politics, while the PUP has identified and installed all its 31 candidates for the general election, the UDP is in disarray and leader the opposition Shyne Barrow seems to be scrambling to put together a slate of 31 candidates. Because of that, the UDP has yet to officially reveal their 31 faces that will represent the party. According to the leader of the opposition they are still in the process of reviewing applicants for each constituency.
Shyne Barrow, Leader of The Opposition "Shortly in short order the party will present its 31 candidates so we have not made an official presentation of our 31 candidates but what you have seen is the party leader tour of the regions so I met with the southern region standard bearers those are all set in place those standard bearers I met with the western region standard bearers, I've met with eastern region standard bearers and I will meet with the northern region. But there are still some finalizations that need to take place as far as standard bearers are concerned with the nominations committee and the central executive."
