Police caught two teenagers - one of them a recent BDF recruit - after they allegedly pulled off a robbery in the Toledo District today. It happened in Indianville around 10:00 am when police received information about a robbery in progress at Rocia Store.
The shop attendant said that two men approached her with their faces covered. One of them struck her on the side of her face with what appeared to be a chrome .38 revolver causing her to fall to the ground. Her co-worker called the police- while the would-be robbers couldn't get to the cash drawer because the women fought them off. They fled the scene, but police caught them and recovered what turned out to be an imitation firearm.
The 19 year old is reported to be a recently recruited BDF soldier. His alleged accomplice is 18.
