Police are investigating a shooting that didn't harm anyone but did damage the vehicle owned by the Vice President of the Senate.
It happened early Saturday morning on Jackfruit Crescent in the Belama Phase Two area.
Residents reported hearing gunshots and when tenants of a small apartment building checked, they saw that some of the shots had penetrated a back door, a refrigerator and Senator Collet Montejo's vehicle.
One bullet had struck the tailgate, while the other hit the left side of the vehicle.
Police recovered eight expended shell casings from the scene. No injuries were reported.
