It's been rumored for weeks, but Prime Minister John Briceno is expected to announce the date for the general election tomorrow. The House of Representatives met on Friday and the Senate today, disposing of all the matters before the legislature. That now sets the stage for the Prime Minister to advise the governor general to dissolve parliament and issue a writ of election. But for when? Well, our sources say the date will be set for March 12th, 2025 - but that is unconfirmed. We'll just have to wait and see - and the PM is expected to make a live announcement via streaming services during working hours tomorrow. We'll keep you posted.
