Another murder was recorded last night - only this time it happened in Hope Creek Village in the Stann Creek District.
The victim was reportedly out socializing at a friend's home when he was fatally shot. He's since been identified as 23 year old Simon Arana, an ITVET instructor. Reports suggest that 2 shots were heard within the area before Arana was found lying motionless on the verandah of a neighbor's home.
No motive has been ascertained and police aren't even sure if he was the target.
