Last night on Uncut, Jules Vasquez pressed Jerry Enriquez on doing so at this late stage:

Jules Vasquez:
"Your attorney argued today that if we went to this election with the list as it is, the government would be inducing the voters to participate in an unlawful and fraudulent election."

"That's exactly what it is."

Jules Vasquez:
"You can't be right. Our government would never do that. The counsel for the other side Eamon Courtenay said ‘What the voter is assured of is one man, one woman, one vote. That's what matters.'"

"What about section 90 of the Constitution that says equal equal as near as equal electoral divisions?"

Jules Vasquez:
"The parliament is apprized of that matter, and then they the deal with it."

"And they haven't."

Jules Vasquez:
"In their term, they will deal with it. It's one been there since 2023 it's not even 2 years. You all are getting impatient."

"Yeah but we have we've done this from before, 2020. Remember the Belize Peace Movement?"

Jules Vasquez:
"Senior counsel Courtenay said in court today you are indolent, lazy, indolent means lazy Jerry. You are indolent. You were a part of matters related to this in 2020 and now; not at the last minute, he said at a minute pass. Midnight. You want to come and break up this election. Your fault Mr Jerry."

"Well, I could say that the Belize Peace Movement was on this, and I was definitely in support of the Belize Peace Movement all the way. When I saw that it was that there was still more delay, then I decided to jump in. But it's not that I was sitting on the watching. They know that I've been writing and speaking about this for more beyond 2020."

"What is the outcome that we want when we call when we first introduced this case about a little over a week ago, we actually did not think that elections would be called so soon. And then we heard that the prime Minister might call elections last Friday and then things started to speed up. But when we when we spoke about the case and we started, it was that election would be probably around mid June or so, which would give us some time."

"And all of a sudden, things revved up and so to our disappointment then, in a sense, we had very little time to quench. So we had sleepless nights just getting our case together to be heard as soon as the election. But as you mentioned, it was a little afterwards, minute, a minute past midnight. We were hoping and we still are hoping that there would be redistricting, Re-divisioning of electoral divisions before elections are called."

"Or if elections have been called that there that there is a way to have an injunction to maybe want to stop the election, stop the election until there is a redistricting this date. But that that's I know it's a tall order."

Jules Vasquez:
"Are you all crazy this whole country ready."

"And the system is so rigged that it's is a difficult process, but we'll see how that goes."

Jules Vasquez:
"So but realistically, you all are asking the court to put breaks on this election machine that done strike up."

"The horse not only done left the stable it the run round the track. And you want them to bring back the horse. And put it in the stable."
