Steinway International Artists BK Davis will be performing at the Bliss tonight featuring his original compositions and a number of covers by other famous pianists.
Davis says he first fell in love with Belize when he visited years ago on a sabbatical, and has gained inspiration from the country to compose more pieces and complete an audio book.
We met with him yesterday and here's what he had to say about his upcoming show titled Invisible Secret.

"Well he is a Steinway artist and those are an elite community you don't come to that so easily it takes a lot of work, a lot of dedication and talent. What I think is fantastic about BK is that he performs across different genres and so that's what the public can expect. He is going to do some Lionel Richie and Stevie Wonder covers. He is known for doing that really well. He has his own music. He has composed extensively over the years, he is going to do some jazz standards, gospel jazz. So I think people can really enjoy. It is going to be a solo performance. It is him and his piano, but he has been sharing and coming by on a regular basis to rehearse and I think that everyone will enjoy it. It is a 90 minute performance, but it is just going to be entertainment and really good music."

"So a book I've written about my life it's called Ivy Towers, a true story and in this book I cover from the age of 14 years old all the way up until a few years ago. My interactions with people like little Richard and Billy Preston and John Taylor and Elton John's Lyricist, and Tobin and I did so many things down through the years and you know when you get to be 65 its a lot there is a lot of road behind you when you look in the rearview mirror of your life."
"So I decided I'm going to go back to Belize and finish my audio book, so this is what's happening. I am happy and everything to be here again. I'm all welled up with emotions so maybe you can feel me getting ready to shed couple of tears. I'm really excited."
"I am going to play a lot of my original material and, I've got from my musical catalog I've got a song book in the back of my autobiography I got a song at the back of my memoir and my flagship song is down in Belize."
"Belize is the perfect getaway for anybody who wants to take a vacation anyone who wants to cool things off a study and for me this particular trip I am completing my audiobook."
The show began at 7:00Pm at the Bliss Centre.
