Yesterday the lifeless body of a man was found in a pond in Ladyville. The deceased was later identified as 42 year old Herbin Bans. According to reports, Bans returned to Ladyville from Punta Gorda Town on the 28th but instead of going home, he went to Fire Nightclub. Around 2:30 in the morning on March 1st he was dropped off home. And the next time anyone saw him, he was face down in a puddle. ACP Hilberto Romero explained what happened next.

"On Sunday police responded to the discovery of a body at a pond in Lord's Bank. Upon the arrival they saw the lifeless body of a person identified as Herbin Banks of Lord's Bank. Information is that Saturday morning Banks attempted to steal a motorcycle from the area and when the owner came out he ran towards the pond areas. The police were called, they responded. Then he continued to swim through the ponds then he was reported missing and on Sunday his body was found."

"The information we got is that yes he was at a nightclub the night when he went and tampered with the motorcycle."

"We are currently investigating but the body had no injuries."
