Indeed, the specter of violence in the city seems to be stalking the election, but today the Commissioner assured the public that the department has it under control.

They might not have the chance to vote but we are not going to put the elections at peril because of these people, it's not going to happen."
The Compol says 50 persons from the Faber's Road area have been detained.
