There were 2 murders this weekend. The first happened on Saturday night on Electric Avenue in the Lake Independence area of Belize City. 34 year old Elvis Aldana was targeted around 8:30 pm. Police told us more:

"On Saturday police visited Electric Avenue where a report came in that there was a shooting incident. And upon the arrival police saw the lifeless body of Elvis Aldana with multiple gunshot wounds. Information received is that Aldana was in a yard along with several persons when gunshots were heard and he received fatal injuries. The police arrived and found Aldana at the area and an investigation is being carried out into this murder."
No one has been detained.
