It happened last night when 33 year old Jason Sharpe was with his step son, buying weed from the village "dur". That's when both of them were stabbed - one fatally. Police told us more:

"On Sunday police responded to a report of a stabbing at the southern regional hospital and upon their arrival they saw the lifeless body of Santiago Garcia with stab wounds. Shortly thereafter two other persons arrived for treatment namely Jason Sharp and Kenroy Smith information received is that Santiago Garcia and Jason Sharp went to the residence of Smith to purchase cannabis, there was an altercation between them a fight started whereby Smith took out a knife and inflicted injuries to both persons. An investigation is being carried out and a file has been sent to the DPP for directives."

"The guy Smith is the one who actually took the other two to the hospital for treatment and following that he went and surrendered himself to the police in Dangriga and explained to the police what had transpired."
