The Ministry of Infrastructure Development & Housing is putting the public on notice that there will be a short-term closure of the Hummingbird Highway in the vicinity of Mile 31. That's where a culvert collapsed so work to replace it is scheduled to take place from Wednesday, 2nd April, to Thursday, 3rd April 2025.
The MIDH says a detour will be provided for motorists during the closure period. Motorists are advised to approach the area with caution and to please follow traffic warnings and the instructions of safety officers and flagmen.
