Government Warehouse Manager Charged For Stealing 43 Laptops From MOE

He's accused of stealing 43 laptop computers from the Ministry of Education - and tonight a government warehouse manager is out on bail.

43-year-old, Ezbert "Shuga" Ramclam Jr., was taken to court this morning for arraignment. His family tried mightily to block the court reporter from getting footage of him - but she managed to anyway.

Ramclam Jr. was represented in court by Attorney Ronnel Gonzalez pleaded not guilty to the charge. There was no objection to bail and so he was released on bail of $3,000 dollars.

Ramclam is accused of stealing the Chromebook laptops from the Government Bookstore on Saint Joseph Street. As we reported one week ago, 9 of those laptops were found all the way in the San Lorenzo housing community outside Orange Walk.

Allegations are that between February 18 and February 28 Ramclam toilette laptops valued at $787.50 each, all to a total of $33,862.50.

Police investigation found that a businessman in Orange Walk reported that a man known to him as "Suga" who works at the Government Book store sold him (9) Chromebooks in February.
