He's late to the CEO party, but Dr. Leroy Almendarez can still step right into the line dance. The former CEO of the Social Security Board who was abruptly terminated in January has found a nice landing spot in the Briceno Administration 2.0.
It was announced today that Almendarez - who is also the former Executive Director of Beltraide - will now take the reins as the CEO in the Ministry of Public Utilities, Energy and Logistics, where he will be Michel Chebat's CEO. His name had been first reported weeks ago - but, reports say, finalizing the arrangements took longer than expected.
