Home Affairs Get Rapid Response Patrol Vehicle

Moving on….Today the Minister of Home Affairs Kareem Musa received the keys to a fully equipped rapid response patrol vehicle from Joseph Lee, the COO of a company named INNODEP, That's an international company which specializes in what's called AI based Data City platforms. For Belize's purposes, they are a a surveillance security firm and they are installing a state-of-the-art camera and emergency response system across key areas in Belize City and Belmopan. The system features AI-powered cameras and modern surveillance tools, designed to support police operations and strengthen crime prevention. Recently the minister said 1000 CCTV cameras will be set up countrywide.

The project is expected to be completed by July 2025.

The vehicle is one of two specifically intended for rapid response in coordination with the advanced camera system and the 911 emergency response framework being implemented.

It is all part of the $60 million Belize Integral Security Programme, funded by CABEI.
