A man on a motorcycle was killed outside Punta Gorda today. It happened around 2:00 pm when a man on a motorcycle was rounding the curve near Caribbean Chicken outside Cattle Landing. He crashed head on into an oncoming pickup. The impact knocked him off the motorcycle and flung him to the pavement - where he was unresponsive and pronounced dead by EMT's.
