And keeping it on San Pedro, in November, we told you about the dispute between the Mayor of that town, Wally Nunez. He was under accusation that he demanded a personal payment from a hostel owner trying to get a permit approved for her construction. The Mayor denied it - and the case was set to go to court in a high stakes lawsuit against the mayor.
But, that won't happen. Attorney for the hostel owner August Tabony and Brittney Odaniel have settled out of court. Their attorney Dean Barrow told us, quote, "The parties bound themselves to confidentiality under the terms, so I can't disclose them."
