And police don't have a lot of info at this time, but they say that while Flowers was the intended target, he is not known to them for any criminal activities. Here's what ASP Stacy Smith told us about the investigation so far.

"Police are investigating this incident, this area is one which has video cameras, the police surveillance footage so they are being reviewed intently with a view to ascertain how this incident unfolded and with the view of ultimately making an arrest."

"From all indications it appears that he was the intended target."
"Mr Flowers is not known to police."

"There had been some speculation that had to do with a land dispute, can police confirm?"
