Cop Challenges Transfer, Says He's Being Victimized Because He Has Dirt On The Budna Cover Up
posted (December 3, 2025)
Tonight, Commissioner of Police Dr Richard Rosado is under scrutiny after a strong letter sent to him by the attorney for a police constable. He's being transferred out of the GI3 unit to the Mahogany Heights station. That's a long way down and his attorney says it is a punitive measure because, quote, "the decision (to transfer) was made shortly after (the constable) made known to your office, in his capacity as a police officer, specific, incriminating information concerning high-ranking individuals involved in the highly sensitive Budna Kidnapping matter." End quote.

So what does the constable know? Well, according to our sources he has first hand information and evidence from key police officers who have been forced to take part in the Budna cover-up. These are officers who - as we have reported - have been made to give false statements to put into what the DPP calls a "nothing file."

Well, our reports say that this was communicated to the Commissioner - right around the time he was having discussions about a promotion for this officer. In those discussions, the constable - who has a Master's Degree - was expecting to get a promotion to ASP - which was promised by the previous commissioner - but Compol Rosado said he could only offer him Inspector.

But now he's getting transferred - as a constable. So his attorney's letter states, quote, "this transfer is not actuated by genuine administrative or career development needs, but by malice and bad faith."

The letter also notes that the transfer is more conspicuous because it is happening outside the transfer period and, is, quote, "(a) significant financial detriment and removal from a specialized unit to a generalized, remote posting, particularly when coupled with an ulterior motive (of malice), is unequivocally punitive and constitutes a gross violation of the Department's own stated policies." End quote.

So, what happens next? Well, the attorney Nazira Uc Myles is calling for an immediate rescindment of the transfer along with a promotion and compensation and a quote, "cessation of victimization". The demand letter says this has to happen by Friday or they will file for leave for Judicial Review.
