And in another story that might anger women’s rights activists ,
a policeman convicted of carnal knowledge is a freeman tonight. That is because
today the Court of Appeal quashed his conviction. 24 year old Juan Pop was charged
and convicted for having sex with a 13 year old girl on May 23rd 2007 at the
police station. He was sentenced to 12 years in jail.
