It seems almost like nothing to report, the PUP now owns Independence Hall, the Belize Times, and Positive Vibes media. It’s news because when John Briceno took over as leader, those assets were vested in personalities and companies controlled by the old guard.

But after weeks of negotiations, a release says, “the People’s United Party has reached an agreement to buy the companies which own and operate the Belize Times, Positive Vibes Radio and Independence Hall...the party assumes immediate control and management of these assets and expects to get full ownership by the end of this year.”
